On one special night of every voyage, guests of all ages can don their most swashbuckling pirate garb and head to the upper decks for a rollicking rock-and-roll extravaganza, complete with fireworks at sea like only Disney can do. The Disney Treasure will sail Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries from Port Canaveral, Florida beginning Saturday, December 21, 2024 with her maiden voyage, a 7-night Eastern Caribbean cruise. Afterwards, the Disney Treasure’s inaugural season will consist of 7-Night itineraries to the Eastern and Western Caribbean from PortCanaveral.

The Disney Wonder will be sailing to Sydney in October 2023 for a variety of Australian and New Zealand cruises, before sailing back to Vancouver in March 2024. There are so many other possible themes they could use that it will be interesting to see which one is chosen. Therefore either the Treasure will simply have Enchante in the same form, but it is more likely that there will be a different high-end restaurant themed after another Disney movie. Disney is constantly innovating and improving but remember that all technology has a price and that a considerable amount of money will most certainly have been spent on designing the Star Wars bar. Many guests on the Disney Wish have also pointed out the serious lack of pool space for adults. If we compare the Grand Hall of the Wish with the concept art for the Disney Treasure we can see that the Wish has a much lighter color palate.

No doubt Disney is using this first step into this new destination to test out what it will be doing in the future. I am confident that we will see the Disney Wonder being based in Australia and New Zealand for part of the season into at least 2025 and likely beyond that too. Therefore, whilst we may see the Wish or Treasure at different home ports in the future, for now, it is a pretty solid bet that both will be sailing out of Port Canaveral for some time to come. The Port Canaveral 3 and 4-night itineraries are, we can assume, the most lucrative of the Disney sailings, therefore the logical thing is that initially, the newest ship will always take over those itineraries. Not too sure about a Haunted Mansion-themed restaurant on Disney Treasure though and think this is more likely to be a bar. Of course, these characters shown could be featured elsewhere on the ship instead. If you compare the Disney Treasure concept art with the reality of the Grand Hall of the Disney Wish you can see a couple of differences in structure, but of course, this may change when the ship is actually launched.

This design feature has been very well received therefore it is very likely that Disney Treasure will have themed rooms. The next Disney Cruise Line ship will be adventure-themed and named Disney Treasure. It has also been awarded Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence and Florida Trend Golden Spoon Hall of Fame – American Regional. Cinephiles will have the opportunity to view watch first-run films from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm and more in one of two intimate, luxe screening rooms. The Disney Treasure is based on the theme of “adventure” and will feature an Aladdin themed Grand Hall design. Aboard the Disney Treasure, children will embark on Disney adventures of their own with dedicated spaces and interactive programming for every age group—infants and toddlers, children, tweens and teens. Senses Spa is a tranquil oasis offering indulgent spa and beauty treatments, drawing on the serenity of natural elements to promote pampering and relaxation. The spa will feature private treatment rooms, lavish spa villas, and steam and aromatherapy rooms, while the reimagined Senses Fitness will offer state-of-the- art exercise and wellness facilities.

Disney has not yet shared what that show will entail, other than teasing that Nick Fury, the founder of the Avengers, has the information listed as top-secret. There are seven pools staggered amongst the decks with an abundance of lounge chairs. The show sounds breathtaking, especially the song “How Far I'll Go,” with the stage demonstrating Moana's Journey with stars overhead, and a glowing manta ray to symbolize the spirit of Gramma Tala. We also know that the Disney Treasure will include a brand-new stage production featuring Moana.

The Disney Treasure will join the Disney Fantasy and Disney Wish at Port Canaveral. The Disney Fantasy will shift departure dates allowing the Disney Treasure to over Saturday 7-night Caribbean sailings. If you want to sail on the maiden voyage of Disney Treasure, for two guests, the price starts at $8,773 for an inside cabin and $11,279 for a balcony cabin. Disney Treasure will also have seven-night Western Caribbean sailings that include ports of call in Cozumel, Mexico; Grand Cayman; Falmouth, Jamaica; and Castaway Cay with two sea days. Most of the ship's Eastern Caribbean itineraries will include the same ports, but a few swap out St. Thomas for San Juan, Puerto Rico. AquaMouse, Disney's water ride that debuted on Disney Wish, will also be a signature attraction on Disney Treasure.

Not just for grownups but also returning from Disney Wish is the ship's fast-casual, upper-deck Mickey & Friends Festival of Foods. Like on Disney Wish, Disney Treasure passengers will enjoy the Worlds of Marvel restaurant. Due to Treasure's longer itineraries, a new, second show will be added to the Worlds of Marvel lineup.
